As many of you know, I recently went to Australia. The main purpose for this trip was to attend Sarah and Chris Rhoads’ very first VOICE workshop. I admire Sarah and Chris not just for their amazing photography, but for their tenacious spirits and pure hearts that shine bright. When I first heard of this workshop being hosted by my friend, another amazing photographer Christine Pobke, I knew it was going to sell out quick, so I made the decision to go within hours of the announcement, and I’m glad I did as it sold out in less than 24hrs! Even though I was a little ill for some reason during the workshop day, (sad, i know) I still immensely enjoyed and have been inspired by each individual I met. Of course, the information learned was incredibly valuable, but mostly for me it was the people and amazing inspiration they all so freely offered; and being in another country and culture stimulated my core to the max and my time spent in Australia was unforgettable.
