Hi, I'm Johnna
A little Kodak Instamatic I never really put down. That curiosity grew up with me. In 2008 I started a non-profit for kids, “Star Shooter: Phototherapy for Kids” to put cameras in the hands of at-risk children so they could say what words couldn't reach. A year later I launched Johnna Brynn Photography, LLC, and ran both side by side for years, the nonprofit work and the business, each one sharpening the other, until it grew into hundreds of weddings and sessions across Florida with work in more than 20 countries along the way.
I also hold a doctorate in psychology. Years behind the camera kept confirming what the degree already taught me: people only show you the truth once they feel safe enough with you to stop performing. So I keep things relaxed and unhurried. The photographs end up looking like your day actually felt, the in-between laughter, the glance nobody choreographed, the light doing exactly what Keys light does. Clients tell me their favorite image is almost always one they never saw me take.
These islands are home now. If you're getting married here, eloping barefoot at sunset, gathering the family for a week, or building a business that needs images with some soul in them, I'd love to hear what you're dreaming up.

Serving Key West, Big Pine Key, and Marathon. Islamorada, Key Largo, the Upper Keys, and beyond are welcome with a small travel fee. I stay passport ready and available internationally. One of my favorite things to do is put my tray table in an upright position and get ready for takeoff. ;)
