Hi, I'm Johnna
It was a little Kodak Instamatic, and I never really put it down. That curiosity grew into Johnna Brynn Photography, LLC, the business I founded in 2009 and have carried through hundreds of weddings and sessions across Florida, with work in more than 20 countries along the way. It also grew into Star Shooter: phototherapy for kids, a nonprofit I founded in 2008 that put cameras in the hands of at-risk children as a way to express what words couldn't.
My style is lifestyle photography in natural light. I also hold a doctorate in psychology, which taught me what years behind the camera kept confirming: people give you their authentic expressions when they feel at ease. So I keep things relaxed and unhurried, and the photographs look like your day actually felt: the in-between laughter, the quiet glances, the light doing what Keys light does. Clients tell me their favorite images are the ones they never saw me take.
These islands are home now. If you're getting married here, eloping barefoot at sunset, gathering the family on vacation, or building a business that needs beautiful images, I'd love to hear what you're dreaming up.
