Almost three years ago I went to Israel, Greece, Malta and the UK and had my first photography blog. It was during this trip that I discovered my passion and gift for seeing beauty in new ways through my camera. ย I had so many of you follow me on my four-month trip, and I returned to America and have yet to part from the camera to express myself. Tomorrow marks my first international trip with my camera since the last adventure overseas. And I want YOU to join me in Australia! ย Create a “mission” for me to carry out while in Sydney and Brisbane, and I will select the Top Ten best missions and document myself (somehow) carrying out the missions with my camera or iPhone. The ten winners will receive an “Australian Prize!” What is a mission? –A mission is anything you think you want to see or do or would be a great experience for Johnna and the world to see. For an example, it could be “eat Tim Tam biscuits”, “go to Sydney’s open air cinema” or “take a picture of an Australian child.” Be creative. Be different. Only disclaimer is that I don’t eat meat. I do like fish, but no other animals please, thank you.
Follow the details below to participate… and let’s go have some fun and put our tray tables in the upright position!!!

I think you should go out on one of those boating excursions, and take pictures of Great Whites! Australia is known for their sharks, just be careful!
Okay, Johnna – here’s my mission. I want you to get a photo of yourself with Australian, Markus Zusak, Author of THE BOOK THIEF. (OR, if he’s out of reach, a life size cutout will do).

Theron & I would like for you to go mountain bike ‘trekking’ in an outback kind of area.
Ok!! I have a mission for you. Take pictures of 5 uniquely Australian animals, can be any 5, but here’s some I would love to see! A wombat, a platypus, an emu, a dingo, and a koala!! And cuddle with the koala of course!
So… you have successfully complete a Tim-Tam Slam. A Tim Tam is an Austrailian cookie.
You have to take a bite on one corner of the cookie, and then another on the opposite corner. This creates path for liquid to move through like a straw. You then put the cookie in a cup of hot chocolate, and drink some hot chocolate through it and eat the cookie in time (so that it doesnt melt too much in your hands). ๐
