What fun I had with Katie and Marcus! Such a sweet couple. I was delighted to have first worked with them on their engagement photos before the holidays, and then had this pleasure on their wedding day in Casey Key on Nokomis Beach. A perfect blissful Florida day, with a little chill in the evening but warmed by a few sparklers in the end. ; ) Enjoy a few of my favorites from the day…

*Photographers: you may want to know, this wedding was fully edited by the all new VSCO Film 03 just released. Also, I was on my brand new 27″ Thunderbolt display with new 15″ MacBook Pro Retina powering everything. Also, it was my first time to utilize the upgraded Lightroom 4, which was fun to see how the dashboard tools have changed a bit. Loved that Adobe did away with Recovery and Brightness, and has more strategic editing ability with Highlights and Shadows. : ) Some have already asked how I used VSCO 03… Of course, I used a few preset clicks, and a tweak tweak to get it all to my liking. I mostly played with the Fuji FP 100c – – for Canon, and decreased Grain on occasion as well as lowered Contrast, lessened Blacks and Shadows as well as increased for Highlights and sometimes increased the Lights; and I loved the Fuji FP-3000b++ for black and whites, and lessened Contrast, Shadows, and Blacks. But of course, this was my first go at it all, so I’m sure I’ll keep changing as my eye develops. Overall, I love how it’s developing my images with more depth to the feeling I hope to evoke for my clients, according to my translation and vision. ; )  I hope this info can help someone. : )
